Terms of Service

HVR provides photography and videography for events, portraits, maternity shoots, Ravi Varma style sessions, and (coming soon) real estate and commercial work. Pricing, packages, deliverables, and timing are listed on our website and confirmed in each quote.

• A booking is confirmed only after a date is locked in and a deposit is received (normally 25%).
• Your date is not reserved by an inquiry alone — only by a confirmed booking.
• If a date becomes unavailable between your inquiry and confirmation, we'll offer alternatives.

• Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), exclusive of 13% HST.
• Accepted methods: Interac e-Transfer (default) or card via Stripe (when enabled on the invoice).
• Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where HVR cancels a booking.
• The balance is due on or before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Client-initiated cancellation: the deposit is retained. Remaining payments are refunded if no work has been performed.
• Rescheduling at least 14 days before the event: we'll move your deposit to the new date if available.
• HVR-initiated cancellation (illness, equipment failure, etc.): full refund, or we'll propose a replacement photographer/videographer.

• Final photos/videos are delivered within 2 weeks of the shoot through a secure gallery in our portal.
• HVR retains copyright of all images. You receive a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• HVR may use select images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing.
• Commercial or redistribution use by clients requires a separate written licence.

• Ayra is an automated assistant operating on WhatsApp and the website. She's designed to answer questions and help with bookings.
• Ayra's replies are informational. Any quote, date confirmation, or commitment is binding only when documented in a quote, invoice, or email from HVR.
• Ayra may make mistakes. If anything looks wrong, ask a human by replying "agent" or contacting us directly.
• Messages to Ayra are processed by third-party AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini) as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Your portal account is personal to you. Do not share credentials.
• Content in your gallery is yours to view and download for personal use. Redistribution or commercial use requires a licence.
• We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our services.
• Use Ayra or our systems to transmit spam, illegal content, or harassment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HVR's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific engagement in question. HVR is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance.
